Sébastien Charpentier has extensive work experience in the clinical research field. Sébastien is currently the Clinical Operations Manager at ObsEva SA, where they started in January 2020. Before that, they held roles as Associate Clinical Operations Manager and Associate Clinical Trial Manager at the same company from November 2018 to December 2019 and November 2014 to November 2018, respectively.

Prior to their time at ObsEva SA, Sébastien worked as a Senior CRA/Language Area Coordinator at the European Huntington's Disease Network in 2013. Sébastien also served as a Clinical Monitoring Leader at Merck Serono from September 2010 to August 2012.

Before Merck Serono, they were a Lead CRA at Outcome from September 2009 to August 2010. Sébastien has also worked as a Senior CRA at PPD from September 2006 to July 2009 and as a CRA at ICON Clinical Research from March 2004 to September 2006.

Earlier in their career, Sébastien started as a Technical Sales representative at Tekniscience from December 2002 to December 2003. Sébastien then transitioned into the research field as a Research Associate at Origenix Technologies from September 1999 to August 2002.

Sébastien Charpentier has an extensive education history in the field of biology and radiation protection. Sébastien obtained their Master's Degree in Radiation Biology/Radiation Protection from Paris-Sud University (Paris XI) between the years 1997 and 1998. Prior to this, they pursued a Master's degree (DESU - Internship) at Institut national des Sciences appliquées de Toulouse from 1995 to 1996, specializing in the construction of genetic tools for Clostridium acetobutylicum ATCC824. Their education journey began at Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III, where they completed a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Cell Biology, and Physiology from 1990 to 1996.
