Rob Murdoch has extensive work experience in the oil and gas industry, spanning over 20 years. Rob has held various roles in different companies, with a focus on optimization, development, and production engineering.

At Obsidian Energy Ltd., Rob served as the Production Engineering Lead, where they were responsible for optimizing core properties and implementing cost reduction initiatives.

Prior to that, Rob worked at Quantum Petrophysics as the VP of Operations & Production, where they integrated cased hole logging technology with development and optimization opportunities and proposed asset acquisitions.

At Penn West Exploration, Rob worked as the Senior Exploitation Engineering Technologist, coordinating with Operation and Production Engineering staff to optimize non-core assets and increase property value.
