Shane Kidd

Shane Kidd possesses extensive experience in the field of automation and electrical engineering, currently serving as the Manager of Automation & Electrical at Obsidian Energy Ltd. since July 2017. In this role, Shane provides strategic leadership in operations, maintenance planning, and engineering services related to SCADA and automation systems. Prior to this position, Shane excelled as a Field Automation Specialist at Penn West Exploration from May 2011 and held the role of Project Manager / Engineering and Design Coordinator at Sigit Group Inc. between September 2008 and May 2011. Shane began a professional career as an Electrical/Intools Designer at Crimtech Services Ltd. from November 2000 until September 2008. Shane completed an Electrical Engineering Technology degree at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology from 1998 to 2000.
