Chris Cheung has a diverse work experience in various roles within the gaming industry and media. Starting in 2015, Chris worked as a Videographer and Video Editor for the University of Utah Student Media, handling camera operation, editing, and acting/reporting for video productions. In 2018, Chris became a Lecturer and 3D Modeling Instructor at the University of Utah, teaching students asset design and production pipelines for 3D models. In the same year, Chris also started working as a 3D Artist at Actually a Game Company, where they contributed to the development and publishing of the game Hard Light Vector, focusing on creating and implementing 3D PBR game assets. Chris received the 2019 Artistic Achievement Award for their work at Actually a Game Company. In 2021, Chris briefly served as an IT Support Technician at Goodwill of Southern Nevada and then joined Obsidian Entertainment as an Associate Environment Artist, working on the creation of environmental assets.
Chris Cheung received a degree in Entertainment Arts and Engineering from the University of Utah in 2019. Prior to that, they pursued studies in Film and Media Arts at the same university, completing their education in 2017. In addition to their academic achievements, Chris Cheung obtained certifications in Cisco IT Essentials: PC Hardware and Software from Cisco in May 2021, as well as CompTIA A+ from CompTIA in the same month and year.
