Andre Nieuwendam

Andre Nieuwendam has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Andre started their career in 1999 as a Senior Manager of Research at 165 Services. Andre then worked as the Director of IT at Revival Ministries Inc. from 2003 to 2007, where they oversaw the organization's IT and broadcast initiatives.

From 2007 to 2010, Andre served as the Director of Applications Development at T-Scan Corporation, where they managed IT projects and collaborated with applications development teams. Andre then moved on to UPC Insurance, where they were the Director of Information Technology from 2010 to 2014. In this role, they led the strategic vision for the company's IT and technology initiatives, including transitioning to cloud computing.

In 2014, Andre joined Nieuwendam & Company Technology Consultants LLC as a Senior Consultant, focusing on insurance technology consulting, artificial intelligence, and data management. Andre subsequently took on the position of Senior Vice President of Operations and later Senior Vice President of Technology at Obsidian Financial Services from 2018 to 2023. Andre Nieuwendam graduated from Gatesville University in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology. In 1985 to 1986, they attended the Primary Leadership Course at the US Army, focusing on Management Information Systems. Before that, from 1980 to 1981, they studied at the United States Army Signal School, specializing in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications. Andre completed their high school education at Seward Park High School in 1979, earning a High School Diploma with honors in English. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a Loan Originator, Mortgage certification from NMLS in January 2019. Andre also holds certifications as an Avaya Certified Administrator (obtained in 2010) and an Alfresco Certified Administrator (obtained in 2007).
