Karoly santa

Karoly Santa has extensive experience in the fields of sustainable development and digitalization, currently serving as the head of "Sustainable and Climate-Neutral Cities and Regions" at EnBW since January 2000, where responsibilities include developing strategies and recommendations involving various stakeholders. Santa has held multiple leadership roles including program director for GREENWAY (Sustainable Mobility), supervisory board member for Stadtwerke Freiberg am Neckar, and head of the EnBW Competence Center Smart Grid, overseeing over 100 employees across national and international projects focused on synergy creation. Previous positions include senior management roles at ELMÜ AG, where responsibilities spanned strategy development, investment management, and international project oversight. As an academic, Santa has been a professor at Óbuda University since 2019 and previously led artificial intelligence projects at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. Santa holds a Ph.D. in engineering from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and a Master's degree from Technische Universität Dresden.
