Jonathan Gutleber

Jonathan Gutleber is a highly experienced technical leader in coating and materials development, currently serving at Oerlikon Metco since January 2013. With expert knowledge in coating processes, Jonathan leads and guides engineers on projects related to surface technology for high-temperature and industrial markets, while interfacing with key customers and organizations. Previous roles include Technology Leader and Project Manager, where responsibilities encompassed strategy guidance for product development, managing high-impact projects across functions, and providing in-depth expertise on thermal spray surface engineering. Jonathan also served as Manager of Application Development and Deputy CSC-Americas, overseeing project management and technical leadership within the aerospace and automotive sectors. Prior experience at Mesoscribe Technologies involved managing multi-year R&D programs in thermal spray technology collaboration with government and academic institutions. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Engineering and a Master of Science from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
