Mehran Golizadeh

Mehran Golizadeh is a skilled R&D Project Manager specializing in product development for cutting and forming tools at Oerlikon Balzers since June 2021. In this role, Mehran develops protective coatings utilizing Arc and HIPIMS technology, executes global product launches, and manages projects with budgets up to 2 million CHF. Prior to this, Mehran completed a PhD in Materials Science at Montanuniversität Leoben, where project planning, device characterization, and scientific publication were key responsibilities. Academic achievements include a Master's degree in multicomponent nanostructured coatings from the National University of Science and Technology "MISIS" and a Bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering from Isfahan University of Technology.
