Talha Cakmak

Talha Cakmak is an R&D Materials Engineer at Oerlikon since April 2022, specializing in additive manufacturing and the development of new alloys for various materials, including copper, aluminum, high-entropy alloys, titanium, super alloys, Inconel, and stainless steels. Previous experience includes roles as a Research and Development Engineer at Çetin Cıvata and Grafen Nano, as well as a Research and Development Engineer at MATİL Malzeme Test ve İnovasyon Laboratuvarları A.Ş. Talha also worked as a Research Assistant at TÜBİTAK, contributing to projects related to Heusler alloys. An internship at Atik Metal Casting provided early engineering experience. Talha Cakmak holds a Master's degree in Metallurgy and Materials Engineering from Istanbul Technical University and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University.
