Matt Johnson is an experienced professional in business development and eCommerce, currently serving as the Head of New Business Development at Ocado Group since November 2018. In this role, Matt leads a team that promotes the benefits of the Ocado Smart Platform to partners, collaborating closely with technology and partner success teams to align product development with market needs. Prior to this, Matt held various positions at Ocado, including Programme Manager and Business Development Manager, focusing on international partnerships and automated fulfilment solutions. Matt's earlier career includes significant roles at Waitrose, where responsibilities spanned capacity management and eCommerce operations, as well as store management positions at Majestic Wine. Matt holds a BA Hons in Economics and Politics from Durham University and A Levels in Economics, Politics, and History from Bedford School.
