Abhishek Sharma

Abhishek Sharma, PhD, is a Machine Learning Engineer and Data Scientist at OCBC Bank's AI Lab since July 2022, where the focus is on developing intelligent tools to enhance the machine learning development lifecycle for data science projects. Prior to OCBC Bank, Abhishek worked at Veracode (December 2019 - July 2022) as both a Machine Learning Engineer and Data Scientist, specializing in training machine learning models utilizing open source code and software security data. Abhishek's career also includes a position as a Research Fellow at the Living Analytics Research Centre, where research combined machine learning, natural language processing, and social network analysis for job recommendations. Abhishek earned a PhD in Information Systems from Singapore Management University (2014 - 2019) and holds a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Hamirpur (2004 - 2008). Earlier experience includes roles in Accenture Technology Solutions and Tata Consultancy Services, focusing on software implementation and application management.
