Shilin Hu

Lead Analyst

Shilin Hu is an experienced economist with a career spanning several notable institutions. From March 2008 to August 2010, Shilin Hu served as an Economist at the Monetary Authority of Singapore, focusing on research and monitoring of global and domestic developments to assess risks to the Singapore Banking System during the Global Financial Crisis. Following an internship at muvee Technologies and another at Société Générale Corporate and Investment Banking, Shilin Hu joined OCBC Bank in September 2010 as a Lead Analyst, where responsibilities include analyzing emerging economic, sector, and geopolitical trends to evaluate risks in relation to risk appetite and macroeconomic conditions. Academic qualifications include a degree in Business, Economics, and Finance from Singapore Management University and an MSc in Economics and International Financial Economics from the University of Warwick.
