Hanz Shawel

Hanz Shawel currently serves as the Head of Change and Release Management at OCC, where technology transformation initiatives and agile methodologies have been implemented to enhance operational excellence. Prior to this role, Hanz was the Technology Operational Excellence Leader at CME Group, focusing on operational excellence and risk mitigation in technology programs. Additionally, Hanz led a significant technology transformation program at Walgreens Boots Alliance, managing an extensive operational budget. Earlier experience includes leadership positions in software configuration and release management at Acxiom and a senior software engineering role at AT&T. Hanz holds an MBA in Information Technology from the Quinlan School of Business at Loyola University Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Illinois Chicago.
