Jim Hall

Jim Hall currently serves as the Executive Director of Government Relations at the Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) since September 2019, previously holding the position of Director of Government Relations from December 2014 to September 2019. Prior experience includes serving as Legislative Director for a U.S. Congressman from January 2011 to November 2014, where responsibilities involved advising on legislative strategies, drafting policy documents, and mentoring legislative staff. Jim also worked as Senior Counsel for the United States Senate from January 2007 to January 2010, counseling on policy related to Indian reservations and infrastructure, and as Counsel for the House Natural Resources Committee from January 2005 to January 2007, focusing on Federal Indian and energy legislation. Jim Hall earned a Juris Doctor degree in Real Estate Development from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Bucknell University.
