John Waris is an accomplished finance executive with extensive experience in strategic planning and development. As the Executive Director of Finance at OCC since August 2015, John has successfully redesigned budget and capital planning processes, resulting in over $100 million in reductions in P&L and cash expenditures, while overseeing a $400 million investment in a transformative technology platform. Previously, John functioned as the Director of Strategic Planning and Development, guiding OCC’s Corporate Strategy and establishing targeted business outcomes for multi-year projects. Additional roles include Senior Business Analyst and Business Analyst within the strategic planning team at OCC. Prior experience includes a Retail Territory Manager position at Colgate Palmolive and a Seasonal Intern role at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange Group, along with a Marketing Specialist/Web Content Manager position at Samsung Telecommunications. John holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Villanova University.
