Joseph Cowlin

Joseph Cowlin, CPA, CISA, currently serves as the Lead Associate Principal in Operational Risk Management (IT & Security) at The Options Clearing Corporation (OCC), where responsibilities also include roles as Manager and Associate Principal in Internal Audit for Information Technology and Security. Prior to OCC, Joseph gained experience at KPMG as a Technology Assurance Senior Associate and Technology Assurance Associate, along with an internship in Risk Consulting/Audit. Earlier career experiences include a Finance/Accounting internship at AbbVie and a sales position at The Running Depot. Joseph holds a Master’s degree in Accounting Science and Bachelor’s degrees in Accounting and Finance from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and completed high school at Prairie Ridge High School.
