Lukas Pilat

Lukas Pilat serves as the Chief Design Engineering Officer at Occhio GmbH since October 2022 and is the Founder and Managing Director of LR Innovation Lab, a position held since 2014. Prior experience includes a role as an Associate at Strategy&, part of the PwC network from 2011 to 2014, focusing on management consulting with an emphasis on IT. Lukas also worked as a Software Engineer at CERN from 2007 to 2008, specializing in legacy system reengineering and software development processes. Earlier experiences include multiple internships in software engineering at Medek & Schoerner - Cable Marking Systems from 2004 to 2006, teaching software engineering courses at the Institute of Computer Technology at Vienna University of Technology as a Teaching Assistant from 2002 to 2005, and an internship at Siemens Austria in 2000. Lukas Pilat holds an MSc in Computer Technology and a BSc in Electrical Engineering from Vienna University of Technology and has also engaged in further educational pursuits at Brno University of Technology and Lycee Francais de Vienne.
