Barbara Avery serves as the Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students at Occidental College since July 2005. Prior to this role, Barbara held the position of Adjunct Faculty at Springfield College from 2002 to 2012 and served as Vice President for Student Affairs at Holy Names University from June 2002 to July 2005. Additionally, Barbara was the Dean of Students at Loyola Marymount University from June 1991 to July 2002. Barbara completed education at UC San Diego.
