Barbara Clarke is an experienced business leader and entrepreneur, currently serving as a Member of the Board of Trustees at Occidental College and as the Founder and Board Chair of The Impact Seat Foundation, which aims to empower women, particularly women of color, in business leadership roles. In 2021, Barbara founded Egeria Enterprises to preserve the Provincetown Bookshop and has since expanded into property management and development. Barbara plays significant roles at Portfolia, where involvement includes serving as Deal Lead for the FirstStep Fund and participating on the Investment Committees for both the Enterprise Fund and the Rising Tide Program. Additionally, Barbara is on the Board of Directors for Founders First Capital Partners, LLC, supporting growth for underserved small businesses. Other advisory and investment roles include contributions to Bond & Des Voeux, Pipeline Angels, Care Academy, and Croton Capital. Barbara holds a BA in Quantitative Economics from Tufts University, an MA in International Economics and Finance from Brandeis International Business School, and has studied Economics at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management.
