Igor Logvinenko

Director, Undergraduate Research Center

Igor Logvinenko serves as the Director of the Undergraduate Research Center at Occidental College since June 2020, where leadership focuses on promoting student research through initiatives that enhance intellectual curiosity and faculty-student mentorship. Prior to this role, Logvinenko held positions as Associate Professor at Wellesley College and Assistant Professor at The Harriman Institute at Columbia University. Logvinenko's academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Government from Cornell University, complemented by a postdoctoral fellowship in Political Science at Columbia University and a Master's degree in Political Science from Villanova University. Early education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Economics & International Relations from the University of Redlands and an Associate's Degree from Southwestern College.
