Jakob Barton

Jakob Barton is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in sustainability and renewable energy. Currently serving as a Board Member for the ASOC Renewable Energy & Sustainability Fund, Jakob allocates funds for sustainable initiatives at Occidental College. As the Bruce Steele Garden Manager, Jakob oversees the campus garden and promotes education on sustainable practices. Additionally, Jakob contributes as an Executive Committee Member for the Associated Students of Occidental College and has completed roles as a Sustainability Assistant and Research Associate Intern, gaining valuable insights into renewable energy markets and sustainable investment. With a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Occidental College, Jakob's earlier experiences include internships focused on sustainable agriculture and investment research.
