Jennifer Locke

Jennifer Locke is an experienced academic professional with a robust background in fellowship and scholarship programs. Currently serving as Senior Director of Fellowship and Scholar Programs at Occidental College since May 2018, Jennifer previously held the role of Director of National and International Fellowships at the same institution. Prior to this, Jennifer worked at Pomona College from September 2012 to May 2018 as Assistant Director of Fellowships and Career Advisement, where responsibilities included promoting fellowship opportunities and collaborating with faculty to nominate candidates for competitive scholarships. Jennifer's teaching experience includes positions as a Lecturer at UC Irvine and the University of La Verne, focusing on writing and research courses for first-year and sophomore students. Additionally, Jennifer served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Huntington Library, specializing in eighteenth-century manuscripts. Jennifer earned a Ph.D. in English from UC Irvine and a B.A. in English and Music from Pomona College.
