Jessica Johnston

Jessica Johnston is an accomplished admissions professional with extensive experience in higher education. Currently serving as the Associate Dean of Admission and Coordinator of International Admission at Occidental College since July 2022, Jessica previously held the position of Associate Director of Admission at Scripps College for a decade, where key responsibilities included leading international recruitment and managing various admission programs. Jessica's role at Scripps followed a tenure as Assistant Director of Admission at Rice University, where work involved managing publications and evaluating applications, as well as contributing to the Rice Alumni Volunteers for Admission team. Earlier experience includes serving as Assistant Director of Clubs for the Wellesley College Alumnae Association, enhancing support for alumnae networking globally. Jessica holds a B.A. in Political Science and Sociology from Wellesley College, an M.S. in Higher Education - Enrollment Management from Drexel University, and has participated in a study abroad program focused on Politics at Queen Mary University of London.
