Kenneth Kalunian

Kenneth Kalunian is a distinguished medical professional with extensive experience in academia and leadership. Currently serving as Co-Founder and Board Director at BENTO BIO since November 2024, Kalunian also holds the position of Wolfe Family Director at the Lupus Center of Excellence and is a Professor of Medicine at UC San Diego, where involvement dates back to July 2003. Additionally, since July 2021, Kalunian has been a member of the Board of Governors at Occidental College, an institution where educational foundations were laid from 1971 to 1975. Prior to the current roles, Kalunian contributed as a Professor of Medicine/Rheumatology at UCLA School of Medicine from July 1986 to June 2003.
