Cuong Phan

Cuong Phan is an experienced petroleum engineer with a strong background in reservoir management and asset development. Currently serving as Asset Director for Oxy in the Delaware Basin since August 2014, Cuong has held multiple roles, including Asset Manager and Reservoir Management Team Lead, focusing on New Mexico assets. Prior to Oxy, Cuong worked at Chevron from June 2008 to August 2014 as Reserves Coordinator and Lead Reservoir Engineer, gaining expertise in unconventional reservoirs such as the Wolfcamp play in the Midland Basin, TX. Cuong's skill set includes production forecasting, reserves booking, economic analysis, and project management, with a proven track record of overseeing drilling operations and managing various oil and gas fields. Cuong holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University.
