Derek Brown

Derek Brown has extensive experience in human resources, beginning with CDI-Engineering Group as a Benefits Coordinator and progressing through various roles at Oxy from Human Resources Representative to Vice President of Human Resources. Responsibilities included overseeing HR operations for multiple manufacturing facilities, aligning policies with corporate guidance, managing staffing and employee relations, and directing initiatives for talent acquisition and development. Derek holds a BA in History and Economics from Texas A&M University and a MA in Human Resources Management from the University of Houston-Clear Lake.
