Diana Duran is an experienced Unconventional Development Senior Geological Advisor with Oxy, having worked there since 2011. Duran has played pivotal roles in various geoscience projects, including leading the exploration geoscientist efforts in the North Oman and Gabon regions, high-grading areas for exploration in Colombia, and managing significant projects in the Midland and Delaware Basins. Prior to Oxy, Duran served as a Senior Geologist at ExxonMobil, where significant contributions included the development of innovative seismic interpretation technologies and geological assessments for deep-water reservoirs. Diana holds a Master’s degree in Geology/Stratigraphy from The University of Alabama and a Bachelor’s degree in Geology from Hamilton College.
