Jim Tally

Jim Tally has extensive experience in human resources and compensation, currently serving as Vice President of Compensation and Benefits at Oxy since March 1996. Tally has held various leadership roles within the company, including Vice President of Human Resources for international operations and HR Director for international teams, where strategic direction and support for HR functions across multiple regions were provided. Additional positions include Compensation Manager and Human Resources Manager, focusing on compensation structure, expatriate programs, and HR strategy. Tally's career began in the US Navy, where a division of mechanical technicians was led. Tally holds a MA in Industrial & Organizational Psychology from The University of Tulsa and a BA in Psychology from the University of Oklahoma.
