Luke Albrecht

Luke Albrecht serves as the Director of Business Development for US Onshore Resources & Carbon Management at Occidental, a position held since March 2023. Prior experience includes serving as Business Development Manager for Acquisitions & Divestitures at Hilcorp from December 2019 to March 2023, and Vice President of Business Development at EnerVest, Ltd. from November 2014 to September 2019. Albrecht has also held significant roles in business development and portfolio management at Samson Resources and in acquisitions and divestitures at Hess Corporation. Early career experiences include positions as a Senior Financial Analyst at ExxonMobil and an Analyst at Wachovia Securities. Albrecht obtained an MBA in Finance from Rice University and holds dual degrees (BBA in Finance and BA in Economics) from Southern Methodist University, in addition to completing leadership and negotiations programs at Harvard Business School.
