Monica Pope

Monica Pope is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in digital platform engineering and operations enablement within the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as Vice President of Digital Platform Engineering at Oxy since September 2019, Monica oversees advanced analytics, data services, application development, and enterprise computing platforms. Previously, Monica held various leadership roles at Anadarko Petroleum Corporation from June 2003 to September 2019, including IT Director for Operations Enablement Systems, where responsibilities included managing engineering and HSE&S systems. With a strong technical foundation beginning as a Student Web Developer at Baylor University, Monica has advanced through roles in project management, IT management, and system administration. Monica holds an Executive MBA from Rice Business and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from Baylor University.
