Patrick Corwin is a seasoned geophysicist with extensive experience in seismic processing and geophysical analysis within diverse North and South American regions. Currently serving as a Senior Geophysicist at Oxy since June 2019, Corwin leads the development of geophysics for Gulf of Mexico (GOM) partner-operated fields and has contributed to enhancing production efficiency through the analysis of 4D seismic data. With a solid foundation further developed at Colorado School of Mines through both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Geophysics and Geophysical Engineering, Corwin has a strong background that includes internships at Oxy and EOG Resources, as well as research on seismic data in Argentina's Vaca Muerta Shale. Corwin's expertise encompasses geophysical appraisal, reservoir characterization, seismic processing using Omega software, and data conditioning across various international basins.
