Kent W. Peterson

Kent Peterson, MD, is an experienced leader in occupational health and preventive medicine. As President and CEO of Occupational Health Strategies since 1984, Kent heads a consulting firm that supports Fortune 500 employers and government agencies with strategic planning and wellness program management. Kent also serves as Medical Director at Examinetics, overseeing nationwide mobile health testing and medical evaluations. In a role as Director of MRO Training and Past President for the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, Kent has contributed to training over 15,000 physicians in workplace drug testing. Kent's past experience includes directing the Executive Wellness Program at the Federal Executive Institute and managing global preventive medicine policies at IBM. With an educational background that includes an MD from the University of Pennsylvania and a BA in Philosophy and Chemistry from the University of North Carolina, Kent brings a strong foundation in both medicine and the sciences to the field of occupational health.
