Corey Ridings has extensive experience in fisheries management and environmental policy, currently serving as a member of the Pacific Fishery Management Council since June 2021. Ridings has held various roles at Ocean Conservancy since November 2012, including manager and policy analyst, where responsibilities included promoting resilient fisheries and collaborating with stakeholders on ocean acidification issues. Previous positions include senior associate at The Pew Charitable Trusts, where strategies for sustainable fisheries were developed, and a Knauss Marine Policy Fellow with the U.S. House of Representatives. Ridings also has a background in public health from the Michigan Department of Community Health and teaching at Yale School of Public Health. Ridings holds a PhD in Ecology from the University of Washington and has a Master of Public Health degree from Yale alongside a Bachelor of Arts in Marine Biology from Occidental College.
