Daniel S. Padilla Ochoa has a diverse work experience. Daniel S. is currently working as a Project Director for Urban Ocean at Ocean Conservancy, where they lead a capacity-building and accelerator program to end ocean plastic pollution and build resilient communities in cities. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Manager for Florida Conservation and a Florida Conservation Partnerships Manager at the same organization. Daniel S. has also worked as a Real Estate Researcher and a Research Assistant at Harvard University Graduate School of Design, focusing on climate change resilience and infrastructure development. Additionally, they served as a Studio Instructor at Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences and a Research Assistant at Joint Center for Housing Studies. In the non-profit sector, they worked as a Supportive Services Coordinator and a Career & Supportive Services Coordinator at Found in Translation, Inc., providing career guidance and supportive services to low-income bilingual women. Daniel S. also completed a professional development residency in non-profit management through AmeriCorps at New Sector Alliance. Earlier in their career, they served as a Communications Manager at Alliance of Massachusetts YMCAs, an Instructor at Connections After-School Program, and a Consultant at Ico Ecuador. Daniel S. also briefly worked as a Sales Team Coordinator at AGCONTROLSENSOR S.A.

Daniel S. Padilla Ochoa completed their Bachelor's Degree in Communication from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where they studied from 2011 to 2013. Daniel S. then pursued further education at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design, where they obtained a Master's Degree in Urban Planning. Daniel S. attended Harvard from 2017 to 2019.
