Elizabeth Metzger

Elizabeth "Biz" Metzger has held various roles in the field of e-learning and instructional design since 2003. Elizabeth "Biz" started their career as an Instructor at the School Board of Broward County, before moving into roles at Florida International University as an Adjunct Professor. Elizabeth "Biz" then transitioned to roles at FIU Online, where they served as an Instructional Designer, Instructional Technologist, and Curriculum Consultant. Elizabeth "Biz" later worked as an Instructional Designer at University of the People and served as an Associate Dean at Broward College. Currently, they are the Director of eLearning and Learning Enterprises at Ocean County College, where they oversee strategic initiatives in e-learning and customized training. Throughout their career, Biz has focused on developing effective online learning strategies and enhancing student outcomes in the digital learning environment.

Elizabeth "Biz" Metzger pursued their Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering with an emphasis in Fiber Optic Networking from Stevens Institute of Technology. Elizabeth "Biz" later obtained a Master of Education Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Instructional Technology from Florida Atlantic University. Currently, they are working towards completing their Doctor of Education degree in Adult Education and Human Resource Development with an emphasis in Learning and Instructional Technologies at Florida International University. In addition to their formal education, Metzger also holds various certifications in fields such as managing up virtually as an employee, Blackboard training, peer course reviewing, and science training.
