Pamela Monaco

Pamela Monaco currently serves as the President of Ocean County College since July 2023, following a distinguished career in higher education leadership. With extensive experience, including roles as Peer Review Chair at the Higher Learning Commission since 2014, and Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs at City Colleges of Chicago-Wilbur Wright College from July 2018 to July 2023, Pamela has demonstrated a strong commitment to academic excellence and student support. Previous positions also include Dean of Graduate and Continuing Studies at North Central College, Vice President of Professional Studies and Chief Academic Officer at Southwestern College, and Dean of Arts and Sciences at Brandman University. Pamela holds a Ph.D. in English and Theatre from The Catholic University of America and degrees in Business Management and Marketing from The George Washington University.
