Dale Wakeham

Dale Wakeham is currently the Head of Subsea Systems at Ocean Infinity, where they lead the development of over-the-horizon capabilities for subsea vehicles. Previously, they gained experience as an R&D Industrial Design Engineer at Soil Machine Dynamics Ltd and held the position of Design Engineer at ResMed, where their packaging design received two patents and a Red Dot Design Award. Dale founded TeamTao, creating an award-winning unmanned drone swarm mapping system that won the 'Moonshot' innovation prize in the Shell Ocean Discovery XPRIZE competition. Their journey began with the Australian Defence Force as an Anti-Aircraft Missile Operator, which instilled values of teamwork and leadership. Dale earned their degree from the University of New South Wales.
