Wendy Marshall

Wendy Marshall has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Wendy began their career at Houghton Mifflin in 1999 as a Consultant, providing valuable insights and expertise. In 2002, they joined McDougal Littell as a Sales Rep for a brief period, before transitioning to College Board as a Solutions Manager from 2002 to 2005. Wendy then served as a District Manager at Houghton Mifflin from 2006 to 2008, followed by a role as Vice President of Sales- West at America's Choice in 2008. From 2009 to 2017, they worked as an Educational Program Designer at the University of Southern California, showcasing their strong skills in program development. In 2012, Wendy became the Director of Education and Public Programs at ExplorOcean, where they further contributed to the field of education. Presently, they hold the position of President & CEO at Ocean Institute, a role they assumed in October 2019. Wendy's work history showcases their wealth of experience and expertise in education, program development, and leadership roles.

Wendy Marshall received their Doctorate of Education (EdD) degree from the University of Southern California from 2009 to 2012. Prior to that, they attended UCLA from 1993 to 1995, although the specific degree and field of study are unknown. Wendy also attended Walnut HS, but it is unclear when they attended or what degree or field of study they pursued there. Additionally, Wendy Marshall has obtained certifications in CPR/FIRST AID/AED from the American Red Cross in May 2016 and holds certifications as a Catalina Naturalist- Level 1 from the Catalina Island Conservancy, as well as certifications as a Naturalist and Naturalist - Level 1 from the American Cetecean Society and Newport Bay Conservancy, respectively.
