Owabie Chitza has over a decade of diverse experience in various roles within the marine, banking, and IT sectors. Currently serving as a Watch Keeper at Ocean Marine Solutions Ltd since September 2016, Owabie effectively liaises between offshore crew and onshore operations, manages security audits, and oversees emergency incident responses. Previous experiences include working as a Funds Transfer Customer Service Officer at First City Monument Bank Limited, where responsibilities encompassed internal funds transfers and ATM maintenance. Prior roles also include performing maintenance on electrical systems at Mobil Oil Nigeria Plc, managing customer services at Global Touch Cyber Cafe, and gaining foundational IT skills as an IT Student at Matronix Digital Services. Owabie holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Rivers State University of Science and Technology, along with various maritime safety certifications.
