Dan Tanner has over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Dan started their career as the Capriccio Restaurant Manager at The Peabody Orlando in 1991 and then moved on to work as the Assistant Director of Food and Beverage at The Hyatt Regency OIA from 1997 to 1999. Dan then served as the Director of Banquets at The Ritz Carlton Atlanta from 1999 to 2001. After that, Dan joined The Westin Diplomat Resort and Spa, where they held various roles, including Assistant Director of Food and Beverage and Director of Banquets. In 2006, they became the Director of Food and Beverage at Ginn Reunion Resort, where they successfully expanded resort amenities and increased revenue. From 2009 to 2011, they served as the Director of Operations at Westin Hotels & Resorts, overseeing resort operations and achieving high guest satisfaction ratings. Currently, Dan is the Executive Director of Banquet and Conference Operations at Ocean Reef Club, responsible for all aspects of group meetings, catering, and banquet services. Throughout their career, they have consistently achieved impressive results and contributed to the success of each organization they have worked for.

Dan Tanner completed their education in a chronological order. Dan attended Valencia College from 1984 to 1986, where they obtained an Associate of Arts (AA) degree with a focus on Mathematics/Engineering. Following that, they pursued their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) from Florida Atlantic University from 1986 to 1988. Lastly, they attended the University of Central Florida from 1988 to 1989, earning a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering (BSIE).
