Michael Milani

Michael Milani has a diverse work experience in the field of financial consulting and intellectual property. Michael worked as a Senior Managing Director at Ocean Tomo, where they focused on financial issues in complex commercial litigation, particularly those involving intellectual property. Their responsibilities included damages strategy formulation, economic analysis, valuation activities, and expert testimony. Michael also developed and managed client relationships and provided training and mentoring to the expert consultants.

Michael also served as an Adjunct Professor at Illinois Institute of Technology, teaching classes on intellectual property monetization and litigation practices. Michael was responsible for examining existing and evolving markets for intellectual property, as well as quantifying economic damages in IP asset matters.

Prior to that, Michael worked as a Senior Manager at Arthur Anderson Business Consulting and then BearingPoint, where they developed detailed business strategies for renowned companies. Their responsibilities included strategy formulation, valuation, company and industry analysis, forecasting, and modeling. Michael also played a role in client relationship management and professional development of strategic consultants.

Michael Milani attended Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management from 1995 to 1997, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Finance, Strategy, and Marketing. Prior to that, they studied at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1986 to 1990, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Finance.
