Floating Procurement Associate Director at OW Ocean Winds

Aitor Paniagua García has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. In 2010, they completed an internship at HC Energia, where they gained experience in construction and maintenance of overhead power lines. From 2010 to 2014, they worked at Duro Felguera Australia, initially as a Supply Manager and later as a Project Manager. During their time there, they were involved in engineering and procurement projects for mining plants in Mauritania and Liberia. In 2015, they joined ISOLUX CORSAN as a Contract Manager, where they were responsible for managing contracts. In 2017, they joined Talgo as a Procurement Project Manager, focusing on procurement projects. From 2019 to 2020, they worked at EDP Renewables as a Procurement & Supply Chain Lead. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Floating Procurement at OW Ocean Winds, where they are responsible for procurement activities.

Aitor Paniagua García holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from IE Business School, which they completed in 2017. Aitor also obtained a Máster en Sistemas Integrados de Gestión: Calidad, Medio Ambiente y Prevención de Riesgos Laborales from Universidad de Oviedo in 2010. Prior to that, they completed their Ingeniero Técnico Superior de Minas (Mining Engineer) degree from the Universidad de Oviedo in 2010. In 2009, Aitor attended VSB - Technical University of Ostrava, but the degree program and field of study are not specified.

Ocean Winds (OW) is an international company dedicated to offshore wind energy and created as a 50-50 joint venture, owned by EDP Renewables and ENGIE.
