Adam Bent is an accomplished business strategist and leader with a diverse background in the food and retail sectors. Currently serving as the Special Advisor to the CEO for Ocean Wise, Adam also participates as a Food Leader Fellow with the Aspen Institute's Food & Society program. Adam has co-founded and led several ventures including Scout Canning, which focuses on responsibly sourced seafood, and SeafoodCollab, aiming to enhance collaboration in the seafood industry. Previous experience includes leadership roles at thisopenspace and Uppercase, both fostering innovative retail solutions, as well as a significant contribution to Provender, which revolutionized farm-to-fork sourcing. Adam's career began in sales and consultancy roles at Urbanspoon and EF Educational Tours, establishing a strong foundation in B2B and account management. Adam is currently a member of the Board of Directors for the Gulf of Georgia Cannery.
