Jeremy Tallent

Jeremy Tallent possesses extensive experience in geology and mining, currently serving as Principal Site Geologist at OceanaGold Corporation since October 2008. Throughout tenure at OceanaGold, Jeremy has held various leadership roles, including Manager of Exploration and Geology, Interim Mine Manager, Geology Superintendent, Senior Underground Geologist, Underground Mine Geologist, and Underground Shift Geologist. Prior to OceanaGold, Jeremy worked as a Geophysical Technician and IT Specialist at American Oil & Gas, Inc. from January 2007 to October 2008, and as an Underground/Field Technician at the Center for Cave and Karst Studies from February 2003 to January 2007. Jeremy earned a Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Geography, and GIS from Western Kentucky University, completing studies in 2007.
