Joseph Villaflor

Joseph Villaflor is an experienced communication professional currently serving as the Acting Senior Advisor-Communication at OceanaGold Corporation, where responsibilities include leading information and communication campaigns to enhance national and regional support. Prior to this role, Joseph held the position of Advisor-Communication, managing internal and external communications, including newsletters and social media. Joseph's experience also includes working with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources as a Public Relations Officer II, National Youth Desk Officer, and Executive Assistant to the Director and Assistant Secretary. Earlier roles include a Communications Specialist at Now You Know PH, Researcher for the Philippine Heart Association, and a Broadcast Media Intern at Skycable Corporation. Joseph holds a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication - Broadcasting from the University of the Philippines and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Communication at Ateneo de Manila University.
