Shane Bungard

Shane Bungard has extensive experience in the mining and processing industry, currently serving as a Senior Specialist - Processing at Oceana Gold since May 2008. In this role, Shane focuses on identifying and implementing process improvements to minimize downtime and enhance availability while reporting to the Processing Manager. Prior to this position, Shane was a Processing Foreman, managing staff and plant operations to optimize recoveries and throughput. Shane began his career at Oceana Gold in 1998 as a Plant Operator, advancing to Shift Supervisor in 2003 and then to Processing Foreman in 2008. Shane completed education at East Otago High School.
