Dalbert J Varnell Jr.

Dalbert J Varnell Jr. has extensive experience in information technology management, with a career spanning from 1983 to the present. Currently serving as IT PMO Manager at Oceaneering International Inc. since April 1998, Varnell has developed governance processes, overseen a global Change Advisory Board, and implemented Primavera Analytics software. Prior roles at Oceaneering include Global Sourcing Manager, where an internal project management office was established, and Regional IT Support Manager, where Varnell led technology transformations and managed the implementation of a Professional Development Program for IT staff. Earlier experiences include ownership of Vartech, Inc., and roles as a Computer Technician for Iberville Parish School Board, as well as Co-owner and Manager of Plaquemine's One Hour Photo. Varnell is an alumnus of Nicholls State University.
