John Malone

John Malone has extensive experience in engineering and project management within the subsea oil and gas sector, currently serving as Sr Manager for SSR & OPG Engineering (APAC) at Oceaneering since January 2014. Malone has held various roles at the company, including Project Management Lead, Engineering Lead, and Project Engineer, successfully overseeing technical tasks and ensuring timely project delivery. Prior to Oceaneering, Malone gained valuable experience as a Mechanical Engineer focused on subsea ROV tooling and systems. Earlier work includes a research assistant position at the Florida Institute of Technology and an internship at the Naval Surface Warfare Center’s Center for Innovation in Ship Design. Malone holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Ocean Engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology, earned between 2010 and 2013.
