Paul B. Murphy

Mr. Murphy has, since 2010, been Chief Executive Officer and chairman of the board of directors of Cadence Bancorporation and Chief Executive Officer of Cadence Bancorp, LLC, which formed Cadence Bank in 2009. From 1990 to 2009, Mr. Murphy was employed by Amegy Bank of Texas, where he served in senior leadership roles, including as Chief Executive Officer from 2000 to 2009 and as a director of that bank from 1994 to 2009. Mr. Murphy also served as a director of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas – Houston Branch from 2009 through 2015. Mr. Murphy has been a director of Hines Real Estate Investment Trust, Inc. since 2008 and GP Natural Resource Partners LLC, the general partner of Natural Resource Partners L.P., since March 2018.
