Patrick Chong

Patrick Chong, CPA has extensive work experience in the field of accounting and auditing. Patrick began their career as a Legal Assistant at Son & Hong Attorneys At Law in 2007. In 2008, they worked as an EOF Resident Assistant at Rutgers University School of Arts & Sciences. Patrick then gained further accounting experience as an Accounting Intern at WithumSmith+Brown in 2009. Patrick joined KPMG in 2010 as an Audit Associate, specializing in financial services. Patrick was promoted to the position of Senior Audit Associate in 2012. Patrick continued to advance in their career at KPMG, becoming an Audit Manager in 2015 and later an Audit Senior Manager in 2017. In 2020, they joined OceanFirst Bank as a Corporate Controller before transitioning to the role of Principal Accounting Officer in 2023.

Patrick Chong, CPA attended Rutgers University from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Patrick further expanded their professional credentials by becoming a graduate of the AICPA Leadership Academy, obtaining this certification from the AICPA in October 2022.
